As the country rolled into the 21st century, STEM achievements in the US were behind those in other countries. Science in STEM It encompasses fields such as geology, chemistry, physics, biology, and astronomy. But in other ways it’s also a cautionary tale, of how the forces of “conventional wisdom” can blind people to unanswered questions and—over a surprisingly long time—inhibit the development of new ideas.
So many discoveries, so many inventions, so much achieved, so much learned.
