Machine learning engineer One of the best technology jobs of the future is as a machine learning engineer. Machine learning engineers have been ranked as one of the fastest-growing jobs in the United States. To become a machine learning engineer, you will need a master’s degree in computer science or artificial intelligence.
The associate degree program is part of one of four career pathways that students can choose, pointing to careers in specialties like culinary arts, manufacturing and automotive technology. But college is not the only option that students can get a jump on exploring at this high school.
The “E” in STEM, “Engineering”, is a lot more diverse than it’s perceived to be. This week I was able to have a conversation with Jesse Burton, a very dear friend of mine and an Analysis Engineer at ThyssenKrupp. Can you explain how you ended up in your role at ThyssenKrupp and what kind of background you have in engineering?
By burning fossil fuels such as petrol and diesel, these engines have driven us into a bustling new age of highspeed transport. Is it the end of the road for the internal combustion engine? For a robotics engineer like Justin, the approach of autonomous vehicles is an exciting prospect. The shift will affect everyone, though.
Engineering is one of the cornerstones of STEM and STEAM education and those working within this field understand how diverse and complex this discipline can be. Intertwined with Science, Technology, Arts and Mathematics engineers utilize their understanding of each discipline to design and build works of art. What is Engineering?
For STEM students with a passion for cars and cutting-edge technology, the automotive industry holds a world of exciting opportunities. AutomotiveEngineer: The Architects of Innovation Automotiveengineers are at the forefront of designing and developing the vehicles we see on the roads today.

The main appeal of quantum computing is its ability to process massive and complex data sets, making it perfect for technology developments related to chemical engineering, aerospace, artificial intelligence, finance, and automotiveengineering. All of these can be made more efficient and accurate with quantum computing.
Understanding how to craft effective prompts and engage in “prompt engineering” is crucial for guiding AI to deliver desired outcomes. An automotive technician could use AI to generate a resume and cover letter tailored to their ideal job. Now, AI tools enable users to communicate in natural language, making them more accessible.
The “E” in STEM stands for Engineering, encompassing the design, creation, and application of technology and solutions to real-world problems. STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering , and Mathematics, emerged as a response to the growing need for a skilled workforce in these fields.
Another example: an automotive student who knows how to troubleshoot engine failure using a specific software program vs. a student who knows the troubleshooting process and can problem solve when it comes to troubleshooting engine failure. However, that isn’t the whole story.
Her years as a keen observer have taken her from biomedical engineer to inventor to entrepreneur to author, and she is keeping her eyes and mind open for whatever might come next.
