University of Nevada Reno (UNR) UNRs College of Engineering has engineering camps for future engineers in grades K-12. Camps are age-specific and cover Engineering Exploration, Engineering Adventures, CivilEngineering, and Environmental Engineering.
Our first field trip was on Friday, October 4th: 35 x 5th/6th graders from the Chittick Elementary School came for a visit. Students learned about the engineering design process, then split up and alternated activities. This school is a perennial school in our field trip series: this is their school’s ninth visit since 2012!
