There are pros and cons of attending class via computer. You can learn on your own schedule, but what if you have connectivity issues?

“Are you a boy or a girl?” the 5-year-old asked, staring at me as she waited for my response. I froze. Having worked primarily with middle and high schoolers, I wasn’t yet used to the blunt inquisitiveness of our younger students. I was caught off guard. It was 2022 and I had recently been hired as the principal of an all-girls elementary school in New York, and it was my first visit to the school to meet students, staff and families.

Oracle presents these teaching resources and training for free. Always a popular price point for teachers. They want to help students make accurate self-assessments, because (as Nell’s group has found in the past, with one paper described here ) students tend to have inflated views of what they should be able to do, and when they can’t achieve those lofty goals, there is a negative impact on their self-efficacy.
