Students aren’t confined by the eight hours between school bells or the struggling budget of an underfunded program. Now, education can be found anywhere — teaming up with students in Kenya, Skyping with an author in Sweden, or chatting with an astrophysicist on the International Space Station.

Tennessee Valley Authority, in partnership with Bicentennial Volunteers Incorporated (a TVA retiree organization), announced awards earlier in late March of over $580,000 in grants to educators in public schools to develop STEM education projects across the Tennessee Valley. Marvel Create Your Own is a new fun iOS app designed for digital storytelling w/ the highly anticipated Marvel Endgame movie coming out tomorrow. Create Your Own is like most digital comic/storytelling tools where a user can select a character, background, and objects to create a thrilling story. What separates Marvel's Create Your Own apart from other similar sites/apps is that a user can change the emotion of their character, control zoom in/out features, etc.
