Grading in my Discrete Mathematics class: a 3x3x3 reflection

I only have a preliminary tabulation of the course grades right now, but it's the most striking bimodal distribution I have ever seen, with a large number of D grades and an almost equally large number of A's. But this never happened among the students with higher course grades. The two are related, but not the same.
